There are several places to go for a dip in some hot springs around Idaho, however, my favorite spot is in Lowman.
Lowman is a nice getaway, tucked in the mountains only an hour and a half from Boise.
To get there, take Highway 55 up to Banks and take a right. Keep going until the road ends and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The river cuts through the mountains and trees litter the landscape. Once you reach a fork in the road, take a left and you’ll see the hot springs on your right a few miles up.
If you choose to go camping, there are a few spots available, if not, just park and take the brief walk down.
Waterfalls drip off the rocks and form pools, giving way to a gorgeous view. To cool off from your soak, simply jump in the river. Make sure you do not bring glass to avoid causing hazards in this pristine, hidden gem.
