Quechee Gorge, known as “Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon”, is one of New England’s most popular natural wonders. The view of the 165 ft gorge from the bridge above is worth the visit. But there are also trails leading down into the river, which is a popular swimming area. The clear waters have a strong current that whisks you down through the channel into a pool below. There are also some interesting rock formations at the base.
