    Hey!

I’m planning a few weeks in Europe throughout the summer, and I know it’s high season for the whole continent, but I didn’t quite expect how booked and crowded everywhere we have looked has been, suggestions on places that might be a little less busy in August?

Northern Europe – Denmark, Sweden, Norway and even the Faroe Islands are a great place for August. Everyone seems to want to run south for the summer.

I’ve done Berlin, Switzerland, and Poland in August and they weren’t overly crowded. Barcelona will be crazy busy, but if you travel down the coast you’ll find some smaller Spanish towns that are less busy.

The Faroe Islands are spectacular in the summer – the waterfalls off the cliffs are particularly amazing. Must see!
